Our mission is to help the legal profession to retain the central and indispensible role in society it has enjoyed for centuries, by training individual lawyers in five key areas--business development, emerging practice opportunities, e-lawyering, integral lawyering and personal and professional transformation.

Transformative Law was founded out of the recognition that lawyers need assistance to manage their practices and lives amidst the vast changes sweeping the legal profession. Fundamental shifts are occurring in the way legal services are delivered and the way legal information is consumed. Much of this change is taking place independently of anything lawyers or the organized bar is doing or not doing--and it will continue regardless of how it is viewed by lawyers or the bar.

We believe that an empowered, vibrant and societally engaged legal profession is integral to the expansion of freedom and abundance in every society. We believe that where lawyers and the legal profession is marginalized and out of step with cultural and economic evolution, our most cherished values wither and die. We are disturbed by the statistics that portray lawyers as far more unhappy, depressed, anxious, addicted and stressed than any other professional group. And we are troubled by the high number of lawyers, particularly young lawyers, leaving the profession out of frustration and burnout.
